Luxury DIY Guest Cottage Renovation Reveal!
I wish it was as easy as a snap of the finger but we got there after months of hard work.
This is the guest cottage we have on our plot of land in the countryside. It started off rough but it’s such a lovely space now. When my wife got pregnant, it put a fire under my butt to get this space ready for guests as our guest room in the house would become the baby’s nursery.
I repainted the entire interior, ripped out the old carpet, ground the cement floor and made it level, installed the wood laminate floors, rebuilt the kitchenette, built a stair to the raised bathroom, and much more.
My wife, as always, added her touch to the interior. I’m currently working on adding a private entrance and a few finishing touches to the exterior. Let me know if you’d like to see the finished bedroom’s before and after.
