This allows the tape to follow all the contours of the inside of the rim, and still reach the outer edges of the bead shelves. This means that for an i25 rim like this KOM Light, you’ll need 30mm tape, and for an i30 rim like this CZR i30, you’ll need 35mm tape, and so on...
