By the spring of 1917, almost all European countries, including the United States overseas, had become embroiled in World War I, thus abandoning its policy of non-intervention in European affairs. In today's video, we'll examine how the United States went from initially declaring its neutrality in the Great War, yet selling arms to Europe, to becoming a major member of the Entente, with whose help it launched the decisive offensive against Germany, ultimately leading to its defeat.
