From mm to a radius, but how I hear you ask!?
On the railway it is important to know the curve radius! The versine measured on site using a simple ruler and string, found using the Hallade method (check out the video for more!) is put into the formula shown to get the curve radius
From this you can then work out the cant, the cant deficiency and the maximum speed for the curve
