Firstly thank you all so much for all your SUPER LUSH comments and inspiring feedback- I absolutely love this song especially the lyrics- Robyn is the dream and a big inspiration to me and I've been eager to make my own version for a little while soooo here it is.........
A little more info;
Whereas my previous video Paper Tiger is quite complex (Midi Mapping madness) this video in comparison is very simple and I hope it will show you guys who are just getting into Ableton how it's not too difficult to put a little electro performance together-
I am using a handful of pre-made Clips accompanied by my left hand on the Bass, Right hand King Korg and also the LPK25 is a vocal sample I am playing-
Main Clip Descriptions
BLUE- Vocal OOOs
GREEN- Rhythmic Vocal OOO to keep me in time (I don't use a click though you totally can if you want to)
ORANGE- Drums
TURQUOISE- Another Rhythmic Vocal effect
RED- High dreamy pad sound
PURPLE- Swell
Then I have assigned a Ping Pong delay and a reverb to the vocal sends A and B- these are Midi Mapped to the Akai LPD8 and also I have an Auto Filter and a tap delay Midi Mapped to the Master channel- oohhh and there is also Beat Repeat on the vocal channel which comes in the second verse-
