How I rescued my data from a 3TB WD My Book External Hard Drive
Recently my 3TB WD My Book gave up and would not power on, this is how I managed to rescue all of my 2.9TB of data despite WD's hardware encryption.
Drive Model/Part No. WDBFJK0020HBK and WDBFJK0030HBK
The actions I took will void any warranty.
