How to create Contained Availability Groups part-1and what will happen if we failover
In this video we discussed about what is Contained Availability group and how to create it. In this demo I made use of cluster less and domain less setup so you will get to know how to create the Availability groups on them as well. Of course there will be 2 databases that gets created one is AGNAME_MASTER & the other AGNAME_MSDB. you will get to know the differences between the objects that appears when connecting to server Name & Listener Name. Finally upon Failover you will see the Linked Servers, jobs, alerts and other dependencies at instance level how it gets failed over Automatically.
