In this video, I make a GC-Content Calculator in Pycharm, utilizing a function with a for-loop. I also explain the importance of GC-content in calculating the stability of a DNA sequence. I then go on to explain why people choose to calculate the percentage of guanine and cytosine in long sequences as opposed to the actual number of the nucleotides.
