Autumn on The Ghost Farm
The popular Western Economics model has rendered much of the older collective infrastructure "obsolete".
Factory styled food production and chemical agriculture have made millions of small food producers redundant with GPS robot tractors.
Destroyed the once rich soils and natural ecosystems which harmonized with humankind's "Old Farming" methods for centuries.
And has left farms abandoned, replacing traditions with metal bunkers which livestock never leave from birth to slaughter!
I eat vegetarian (occasional fish) and buy ecological and local produce as much as I can. It is My little bit to try to effect change! And help the local small farmers.
This farm was likely bought for the forest around it's property. In local law one must "live there" some years to be able to clear cut all of the trees.
Wealthy interests buy up farms and homes with large forests and pretend they reside (address with forwarding!) there for the "needed time".
They clear cut the forest and let the old homes fall apart.Thereby destroying the land and the cultural value!
