MVP Catalyst Alarm
MVP released a new catalyst alarm compatible with its pumping, mixing and metering systems to enable manufacturers to decrease material waste and better control cost. The catalyst alarm will signal if the catalyst pump fails to deliver a full portion of catalyst to the applicator or gun, ensuring an accurate mix ratio for each part.
Gaps in catalyst flow can create a variety of issues including under-catalyzed parts, wasted material, and safety hazards. The new catalyst alarm has advanced sensors designed to measure the presence of catalyst in three major areas, allowing manufacturers the ability to monitor part production more closely and diagnose problems before they become major issues later in production. Additionally, the alarm system provides valuable insights and increased efficiency when training operators.
