This is the first time I've injected dye into roving. I think I forgot that I was doing yarn cakes before and haven't tried roving yet. But I have injected dye into some yarn cakes!

1. 1/4 cup 1% Dharma pecan brown + 1/2 cup water
2. 1 T 1% Dharma Electric Violet + 1/2 cup water
3. 1 T 1% total Deep Magenta/Saphire Blue + 1/2 cup water
4. 1 T 1% Purple pop

12 qt pot half full of water + 1/2 cup white vinegar
[9:04] Transferring the roving to the dyepot
The pot is warm but not yet hot
[10:43] The spread after 2 minutes
heat for 40 minutes
Add more vinegar. Wait another 20 minutes.
Turn off the heat and let it cool completely
[14:43] Leave no dye behind
100 g Stroll

Adding a yarn mop below hte pasta insert
Let everything cool slowly for a few hours
