Ranking Varien - My Prayers Have Become Ghosts EP
Compared to the album they released a year prior, it was fair to say that I was a bit disappointed with this EP. There are definitely some good songs on here, and I like the vibe of each song a lot, but the tracks themselves felt so underdeveloped and uninteresting for the most part. Almost half of this tracklist is stuff people are gonna write off cause there's 7 songs, one is an intro, one is an outro, and the other is a radio edit of another song on here. That leaves 4 full tracks for audiences to truly enjoy, and I truly enjoyed about half of those tracks. It's not bad by any stretch of the imagination, but "Ancient & Arcane" felt more developed and complete as opposed to this, and I guess check this out for the 2 pretty great songs on here, but otherwise, I just don't really see why someone would prefer this over her 2015 album.
