High school students can experience the University of Vermont and gain college credit while still in high school.
As gaining admission to college becomes increasingly competitive and hyper selective, the Pre-College Programs at the University of Vermont enable high school students to shine, allowing them to earn credits, explore potential career interests, boost their GPA, showcase their potential, and learn from our outstanding faculty alongside current university students.
High school students can choose from over 100 courses, available throughout the year—as well as our 4-week, intensive Summer Academy program.
As part of your Pre-College learning experience, high school students have access to the UVM Pre-College Enrichment Learning Community, designed as an educational and interactive resource to support their UVM courses. Students are part of this community and receive important information about academic updates and deadlines, how to develop study and learning skills, join upcoming events and activities, connect with other students, and explore the many resources and opportunities provided through UVM and other organizations.
