Hello and welcome back to our channel. Today in this video we are going to discuss how to integrate Jira with Slack for development teams. This integration helps teams receive project updates, manage tasks, and collaborate directly from their chat workspace.

First, open Slack and go to the Apps section. From there, search for the Jira Cloud app. Once you find it, click Add to Slack and follow the on-screen instructions to authorize the integration with your Jira account.

Next, connect a Jira project to a Slack channel. Inside any Slack channel or direct message, type the command /jira connect and press Enter. Slack will prompt you to choose the Jira project you want to link with that specific channel.

After connecting the project, you can configure notifications and settings so your team receives updates about new issues, comments, or status changes directly in Slack. This helps developers stay informed without constantly checking Jira.

One of the main benefits of this integration is that Jira issue links automatically generate issue previews, and team members can use Slack commands to create or update issues quickly.
