On Friday, October 31, I had the honor and privilege of sharing my poetry in celebration of Tiara Tucker’s 1000th day as an entrepreneur.
Her transparency, authenticity, and unwavering inspiration are what drew me to her years ago—and what continue to keep me connected to her today.
When I first met Tiara, I had just undergone gallbladder surgery. A young lady I was connected to invited me to a live podcast viewing, and though I met quite a few people that day, Tiara and I were the ones who stayed consistently connected.
Over the years, I’ve watched her move with passion, purpose, and professionalism. She is a beacon of light—a woman of integrity and action. I noticed how she would post her events and, whenever I could, I’d attend. Each time, her energy spoke for itself: bold, grounded, and genuine.
What’s unique about Tiara is that she never approached me with an ask—only offers. Her spirit gives. Her heart pours. It’s a reciprocity that’s rare and refreshing.
Last year, I attended one of her events and was invited to perform poetry impromptu. I remember sitting there, writing a brand-new poem in the moment—because her energy inspired me to.
So when she reached out to ask me to perform for her 1000th Day Celebration—and even asked my fee—I was truly honored. That gesture spoke volumes about her professionalism and respect.
Tiara, you are a gem. 💎 A woman who moves with grace, class, and compassion. Though we may not be close friends, I consider you one of the most authentic sisters I’ve met on my journey in Dallas.
To everyone in that room—thank you for the love, the joy, and the amazing energy. Performing live is always an energetic exchange, and that night reminded me why I love doing what I do.
I love sharing poetry.
I love sharing words of healing and inspiration.
And I love making people laugh and feel seen.
