What is mesh WiFi?
Mesh WiFi is the newest solution for ensuring your home has a strong WiFi signal without any dead zones.

Most traditional home networks have a standalone router that is broadcasting a WiFi signal to your home. With mesh WiFi solutions, you have multiple devices (called nodes) that are all broadcasting the same WiFi networks throughout your home.

These mesh nodes provide a longer-reaching WiFi signal to different areas of your home to make sure all your devices have a strong WiFi signal and good internet performance.

The best part about mesh WiFi networks is they are very flexible. You can buy as many mesh nodes as you need to provide a strong WiFi signal to your home. In addition, if you move to a bigger home, you can easily add another node to your existing mesh network.

Even if you replace your standalone router with one mesh WiFi node, it opens the door for you in the future to add additional mesh nodes if your internet needs (or living arrangements) change.

In terms of performance, mesh nodes all communicate with each other on a separate, dedicated WiFi channel (called a backhaul) that streamlines the communication between these devices and ensures that the communication between your mesh nodes doesn’t interfere with the communication between your devices and your mesh nodes.

This results in an efficient operation that provides you with strong WiFi signal, fast internet speeds, and flexibility to customize your home network to fit your needs.
