In F1 News today, the complainant in the Christian Horner misconduct scandal has officially lodged a compliant with the FIA, the regulatory body of F1, the bbc reports. However, the head of the FIA was quoted by the Financial Times saying on March 2 that he didn’t want to jump the gun with any investigation, this in stark contrast to FIA’s approaches to fining Lewis Hamilton, making a special case of the 7 time world champion as he’s a role model for millions of F1 fans around the world, similarly fines were handed out to Zak Brown and Toto Wolff, and an investigation into a conflict of interest between Toto Wolff and Susi Wolff, all in short order. And former FIA technical Gary Anderson has criticised Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes for the inability to develop a car capable of challenging Red Bull for the F1 2024 Championship.
