Teens with arthrogryposis need a device to aid in eating comfortably and quickly because their condition makes them unable to flex their arms inwards, causing eating to be an arduous task. This device should allow one to eat 2 cups of cereal in under five minutes with less than 15% of the cereal spilled by volume, and should be comfortable and simple to use.
This project was developed as part of the EGR 101 course at Duke University in the Fall of 2021. Thank you to Dr. Saterbak and Dr. Bergin for their support and guidance as we designed this prototype!
