Milcho Leviev plays Imagine and Bulgarian Boogie
Milcho Leviev gets invited on stage after attending a classical concert in Sofia (Bulgaria) in 1990 given to celebrate the New Year and the end of 45 years of dictatorship in Bulgaria.
Given those circumstances (and the fact that Milcho fled Bulgaria himself in 1970), makes playing Imagine just about the perfect choice. He gives the greatest rendition I have ever heard and one that certainly would have made John Lennon proud.
One of those goose bumps moments...
