Hey everyone, hope you're all doing well today. So, the Luna 2 special program just wrapped up a few day ago and honestly, Hoyo dropped some genuinely exciting stuff for the next patch. Now, let's be clear, it's not the most massive update we've ever seen, but there are definitely some key announcements that are more than worth talking about. So, let's break down everything important that's coming our way in the new version.
Alright, so getting into the patch itself, the lore developments here are absolutely wild. They actually revealed Varka's in-game model, and for the community, this is a massive deal. They've gone and introduced a completely new body type specifically for him, which really shows that Hoyo is willing to expand their character designs beyond the templates that we've seen for years. But this reveal brings up something that's been on my mind. His signature weapon, the Wolf's Gravestone, is honestly pretty underwhelming in today's meta. It's not a terrible weapon by any means, but it's just okay at best. Now that Varka is clearly on the path to becoming playable, I'm genuinely curious if they'll find a creative way to upgrade or maybe even evolve his signature weapon through the story. It would be fascinating if it could somehow transform as part of the lore progression. Who knows? It's just a thought. The main story arc seems to be building to a huge climax, with everyone in Nod Krai uniting to take down the Rerin, and it looks like we're getting a full squad for this epic battle. Arlecchino makes an appearance which is fantastic to see. Dainsleif also shows up briefly alongside Albedo, though unfortunately, there's still no sign of Alice yet. We're also seeing other characters like Sandrone getting involved to help with the fight. The Rerin itself looks absolutely menacing, and there's this one incredibly intense scene where Dainsleif is unleashing some kind of power. Columbina also appear in some of the cutscenes. One thing you'll want to watch out for, though, is that the teaser shows some scenes in Sumeru's desert. Be aware that this is actually tied to a separate event, not the main quest. Hoyo loves to mix things up like this in their teasers, so don't get confused and think the main story is taking a detour.
