1 Building Lego is one of the most fun hobbies there is. 100s of millions of Lego fans cant be wrong. Hands up if you like Lego. (Cheer) Thats what I thought.
2 It’s free. Ok, you’ll need to have a PC or laptop you can use, but if you have one of those, IT. IS. FREE.
3 You can build any official Lego set or design your own. Search online. Choose any set you like and start! Maybe start with something simple like one of these. See below in the description for a list of these sets and links to their instructions.

4 You can build as much as you like. There’s no limit. Why stop at one X-Wing when you can build a squadron?.. and a squadron of Tie fighters to meet them. Your only limit is your imagination, not the number of bricks you own.
5 Don’t panic (scream) You can use it offline( oh…). Even when you’re on a train or a flight or your internet is down, you can still build in stud.io till your hearts content.
6 It’s educational. Architecture+ mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, aeronautical engineering, robotics, biomechanics. Many engineering universities use Lego design as part of their course foundations. Well you don’t need a place at university to learn and let you creativity go wild, just stud.io.
7 Design your own MOCs. Lego MOCs or ‘My own creations ‘ is a rapidly growing hobby in itself. But you’ll need to design those models with something. I know from experience that having every Lego part at your fingertips in Stud.io makes design a lot easier than rummaging through your collection of real Lego pieces. Want to build a cool RC 4x4? Build several official Lego sets and learn the best way to create the transmission/ suspension/ steering or chassis you need. Or cut and paste modules you like then modify and evolve into something completely different... and if you create something really special, enter it in Bricklink’s AFOL program or Lego Ideas and if you win you might even make a bit of money.
8 If you want to turn your MOC designs into real models it’s easy to order the parts through Bricklink. Of course this bit isn’t free and this is how Bricklink make their money, but
there is no pressure at all to buy parts, no annoying pop-ups or in-app purchases. And you can choose to order used parts if you want to keep the costs down. Well done Bricklink!!
9 Build the rarest and most expensive sets ever made. Some of the retired Lego sets value have sky-rocketed. You’d need to be rich to afford them… or just build in Stud.io for free. It might be the only way you’d ever get to experience these sets! You could build £10000 worth of lego sets in a month, when you get quick.
On my wish list are the Ultimate Collectors Edition Millennium Falcon, Imperial Star Destroyer and Death Star. I’ll try and get these built over the next 2 or 3 months so look out for my videos - or subscribe and you’ll be the first to know. when they’re out.
