August - Before and After Bloodstock ft. Mushroomhead | Dippy Doughnutters
August was exhausting. Good but tiresome! As per usual we sort out our drinks ready for Bloodstock. Have "one" pint the night before heading there... ok may have cheated by having a 2 pint glass of Guinness and then another pint, then some shots. We made it to the festival though, and had a good time (video of that festival vlog on the channel). The next day hits us and we're straight off to London to see Mushroomhead. absolutely amazing gig (backed by Silenzer and Dymytry). The band were so full of energy, looked cool and sounded great (recording off a phone losing a lot of sound quality, but trust me, it sounded good!) but then again Islington academy always sounds pretty decent.
Also, thanks insert name here (sorry were so bad with names) for buying us a pint each. You said its because you're a fan of our videos, but I swear we're more fans of anyone who even acknowledges us. That feeling sticks with us forever.
Anyhoo, we went for another drink after the gig, drunkenly bought next years bloodstock tickets for the Wednesday onwards, then "took the wrong turning" to get back to our Travelodge hotel, and somehow stumbled into a KFC. no idea how that happened.
Next day included drinking cartons of juice and going to Hamleys, followed by ducking a lot and seeing golden showers at regent park.
Courtneys birthday happened 2 weeks later, were we lived the pop punk and emo life - that facedown, emo night pamphlet we got handed at mushroomhead was pretty spot on i guess. funny how that happens.
