How to Use the Blur Effect in CapCut Fast and Easy!

To begin, first open CapCut. Once you're inside the app, you're going to want to start a new project. You'll typically see this option right on the main screen as you open CapCut, making it straightforward to kick off a fresh edit.
With your new project set up, take a look at the top of the interface where you will find the Effects tab. Clicking on this tab will bring up a plethora of options that you can use to enhance your video. For the purpose of today’s task, we’ll be focusing on adding a blur effect.
Now, within the Effects tab, there's a search bar located on the left side of the screen. Input the word 'Blur' into this search bar. This will help you filter through the extensive collection of effects that CapCut offers, making it easier to find exactly what we need without having to scroll endlessly.
Once you’ve searched for 'Blur', you'll notice a couple of options that pop up: Basic Blur and Gaussian Blur. Both have unique characteristics, but for most standard uses, either will work effectively. Click on your preferred blur effect and then drag and drop it directly onto the timeline, placing it above your video footage. The timeline serves as the workspace where all elements of your video, whether it's effects, sound, or clips, come together.
