Pioneering HTS magnets for commercial fusion power
Commercial fusion energy will require strong magnetic fields to confine and control the plasma. In our next spherical tokamak we will use ground-breaking high temperature superconducting (HTS) tape which generates stronger magnetic fields, takes up less space and requires less cooling power.
