Funeral procession and swan song for the BR 628 at the WFB - AE
The Class 628 service on the Westfrankenbahn is coming to an end. Starting with the timetable change in December 2019, according to the transport contract, all train services will be provided by the Class 642, the Desiro.
In anticipation of this, the Class 628 railcars are already being replaced. This train, consisting of six units, was waiting to depart on September 16, 2019.
Rumor has it that the vehicles will continue to be used by Arriva in the Czech Republic.
