Zirkonyum Restorasyonlar Nelerdir ? (Zirkonyum Kaplamalar)
Merhabalar. Ben Diş hekimi protez uzmanı Dr. Zeynep Lale Çalışkan. Zirkonyum restorasyonlar günümüzde çok uzun zamandır diş hekimliğinde kullanılan restorasyonlardır. Zirkonyum yapısı gereği bir miktar opak bir malzemedir ve daha estetik olması için üzerine seramik, yani porselen restorasyonlarla tamamlanması gerekir. Ancak teknolojinin gelişmesi, materyalin gelişmesiyle beraber çok daha estetik olan ve ağızda üzerine bir porselen tabakası yerleştirilmeden direkt bitirebileceğmiz zirkonyum restorasyonlar da üretilmiştir. Biz bunlara monolitik zirkonyumlar demekteyiz. Monolitik zirkonyumların en büyük avantajı üzerine herhangi bir porselen gerektirmediği için çok daha dayanıklı olmasıdır. Çünkü her şekilde iki materyalin birleşimi o materyalin en zayıf yerini oluşturur. Aynı zamanda sadece zirkonyum yani sadece alt yapı materyali gibi kuvvetli bir materyalden üretilebilen bir bitim yapılabildiği için daha dayanıklı restorasyon yapabilmeye olanak sağlar. Bu şekilde yaptığımız restorasyonlarla çok daha uzun vadede herhangi bir kırılma ya da problem yaşamadan zirkonyum restorasyonları ağızda tutabilmekteyiz. Aynı zamanda üzerine bir porselen malzemesi gelmediği için çok daha ince restorasyonlar çalışılabilmektedir. Diş kesiminin az olduğu yerlerde diş etinde herhangi bir kalınlık yapmadan ince bitimler sağlanabilmektedir. Zaten zirkonyum restorasyonlar beyaz ve estetik restorasyonlar olduğu için ve biyo uyumluluğu çok yüksek restorasyonlar olduğu için, diş etine en kibar davranılan, diş etiyle uyumu en iyi olan restorasyonlardan bir tanesidir. Teknolojiyle berabar dediğim gibi monolitik zirkonyum restorasyonların gelişmesiyle beraber uzun vadede çok daha kuvvetli, implant üstlerinde, arka bölgelerdeki köprülerde çok daha rahat kullanabileceğimiz monolitik zirkonyum restorasyonlar uygulayabilmekteyiz.

We call them monolithic zirconia. The biggest advantage of monolithic zirconia is that it is much more durable since it does not require any porcelain. Because the combination of two materials in any way creates the weakest part of that material. At the same time, it allows for a more durable restoration as it can only be made of a strong material such as zirconium, that is, only the infrastructure material. At the same time, we can achieve more aesthetic results even if we do not add a ceramic on it, as it is aesthetically more aesthetically pleasing and high in light transmittance than normal zirconium material. As we can do monolithic zirconia on the chewing surfaces and inner sides where the force is high, we can only add ceramics on the outer surfaces that we want a little more aesthetic, and we can also make restorations that we can finish the entire surface monolithically. With the restorations we make in this way, we can keep zirconium restorations in the mouth without any fractures or problems in the longer term. At the same time, since there is no porcelain material on it, much thinner restorations can be studied. In places where tooth cut is less, thin ends can be achieved without making any thickness in the gum. Since zirconium restorations are white and aesthetic
restorations and they are very biocompatible restorations, they are one of the most gentle restorations to the gums and the best compatibility with the gums. As I said with technology, with the development of monolithic zirconium restorations, we can apply monolithic zirconium restorations that are much stronger in the long term, which we can use much more easily on implant tops and bridges in the back regions.
