Most jazz guitar students diligently practice their jazz standards, but forget to look at how to make a jazz intro. But Intros and endings are equaly as important as the head of a jazz tune. So in this jazz guitar theory lesson I'm goint to be showing you the best jazz intros.
We'll cover the usage of turnarounds for jazz intros, both in major and in minor. You'll learn to differenciate between vintage intros and more modern sounding jazz intros.
Then I'll show you how to use parts of the head as an intro. We'll cover jazz guitar intros for Fly Me To The Moon, Satin Doll, All Of me and the famous composed from scratch All The Things You Are intro.
