Meal Plan:
My meal plan allows me to have 19 meals a week along with $300 in flex bucks (can only be used on campus) a semester to spend at the restaurants on campus. Each month in the semester I spend a maximum of $75 at the on-campus restaurants so that I can make my money or flex bucks last for the whole semester. Otherwise, I'd eat at the restaurants every day. The other meals I eat during the week is from the dining hall.
Off-Campus food:
Because it is really tempting to just order food or get food off-campus, I only eat outside food on the weekends!! This saves me so much money because I am limiting outside food to 2 days a week instead of every day. I try not to spend more than $10-$15 in outside restaurants because I am a college student with a limited amount of money!
Groceries:
I do buy groceries as needed also. When buying meals a great thing to keep in mind is buying things that will last you for multiple days! Cereal, a box of oatmeal, or ramen noodles is a good choice because they will give you multiple days worth of meals!
