Blender geometry nodes - Points light up inside mesh (3.2 alpha)
Points passing trough the mesh lights up.
This mesh is created from geometry nodes, but the effect works with any mesh with a well defined inside/outside.
This and other videos were originally put on YT to be shared with a very limited audience. But since there seems to be some interest from a few others. Here's a some QAs.

A: No, too lazy and most of the material is already covered elsewhere in a better format than what I could provide..

A: Maybe, most of them are really messy. It's probably better to have a discussion about key methods.
Q: Can I steal this idea?
A: Go ahead. Most things have already been done by others, so it's not like I could claim the right to the idea even if I want to.
