In this Maya tutorial series, I cover the entire process of how to animate a creature's run cycle from start to finish using the free Jurrasic World IRex dinosaur rig. In Part 2, we will begin animating the feet and hips of the IRex using a straight-ahead layered method, which I find is one of the best workflows for body mechanics animation. The tutorial series assumes some prior knowledge of Maya and animating in Maya, but everything is in real-time so following along should be relatively easy.
