Claire Wilson, an English teacher, starts working at a new high school. There she meets student Eric, and through meaningful conversations, she learns of his dream of attending the same university she went to. When he suggests that she tutor him on the weekends to help him do well on his SATs, she obliges, happy to assist a determined student. However, the more time the two spend together, the more their mutual feelings for each other complicate their personal lives.
