Often, we are interested in measuring a value between two dates. For example, we want to count the number of orders or measure the value between purchase date and ship date. Or count the number of active projects – those that have started but not yet completed – on a given date. In previous videos, we used a physical relationship between our calendar and fact table to calculate values on a particular date but we can’t use that approach to calculate between dates – instead we implement a virtual relationship in a DAX measure.
The datasets and materials are in at https://bit.ly/33zWQtp in the "Modelling Dates" folder.
