I want to answer the question that my subscribers ask. It can be expressed as follows: "Tell me, why does a person yawn sometimes at interesting events? He is not bored! Especially in the theater, before the start of a favorite performance, or before sports competitions. And is it possible to somehow get rid of such a problem?"

We will not consider cases when a person can yawn simply from fatigue, from lack of sleep, etc. Here everything is clear. But there are cases when a rested and full of energy person at interesting events for him begins to yawn, he begins to feel weak.

When you are bored, you yawn. Everyone knows this. But why do you yawn? "Because it's boring" is not an answer. It turns out that some yawn in a completely opposite situation, i.e. when it is interesting! Then it turns out that to the question "Why are you yawning", you need to answer: "Because it is interesting!" But no one will say that.

There are people who are embarrassed to go to the theater, because there they begin to yawn (although they are very interested). I had similar phenomena in my youth. At school, before important sports and other events in which I took part with pleasure, I almost fell asleep. Sometimes it seemed that I would fall asleep at the start before the race. But as soon as the command "March" was heard, sleep disappeared. For a long time, I could not understand what was happening to me.

So, the reason that a person yawns when he is bored and when something interesting is expected is tense anticipation: anticipation of the beginning of a favorite play or anticipation of the end of a boring performance, etc.

So what kind of thing is this "anticipation"?

The feeling of anticipation is a real physical field, which, like any other feelings and emotions, affects our body in a very specific way.

Anticipation causes a spasm of the smooth muscles of the heart and brain. As a result, the blood flow to the brain decreases, which leads to a lack of oxygen in the brain cells. Therefore, a person wants to sleep. Yawning appears. Neurologists have found that during yawning, the respiratory tract expands. As a result, the human brain receives an increased portion of oxygen. Therefore, our body "forces" us to yawn.

How can we get rid of this? At first glance, everything is obvious: do not wait. And this is the right answer. But how can you force yourself not to wait when you are really waiting for something?

We talked about the fact that waiting is a physical field. But is it possible to somehow reduce the intensity of this field? Of course, it is possible. Waiting can be released in the same way as resentment is released.

But the matter is complicated by the fact that those who have been yawning at inappropriate moments for a long time have developed a habit of yawning at these very inappropriate moments. In other words, a person develops a reflex, i.e. his brain has built clear neural connections that make a person yawn.

Consequently, it is necessary not only to reduce the waiting itself, as a physical field, but also to "reprogram" the brain.

So, to get rid of yawning, you need to:
1) Get rid of, or rather, release the expectation.
2) Wean yourself off the habit of yawning, i.e. retrain your brain.
