Writing Gradle plugins can be very rewarding but there's plenty to get right and wrong along the way.
In this session, we'll share the lessons that were learned while developing Spring Boot's Gradle support. We'll discuss mistakes that were made and how they became apparent. And, perhaps most importantly, we'll look at how we identified the right way to fix the problems, focussing on how Gradle helped and very occasionally hindered us.
No prior experience with Spring Boot is required and you will leave the session ready to write better plugins without repeating our mistakes.
