Can't Receive Incoming Messages on Skype (Solution)
If you can't see incoming messages on Skype desktop or mobile this is how to fix it. You won't be fixing it from mobile you'll have to access your Skype account on your laptop or desktop computer. This fix also helps with corrupted contact or blocked contact lists as well.
Text instructions;
Windows 10;
1. Open File Explorer (folder icon near Windows logo on taskbar), Copy and Paste this into the location bar C:\Users\(Windows Username)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Skype for Desktop\skylib "Replace "Windows Username" with your actual Windows username" hit Enter
2. Locate shared.xml and delete it, Open your Skype username folder and delete Config.xml (config.xml is located in your Skype username folder)
Done
Once you log into Skype again these two files will be recreated new.
Location paths for folder;
C:\Users\(Windows Username)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Skype for Desktop\skylib
(Replace "Windows Username" with your actual Windows username then copy and paste into File Explorer and hit Enter.
