External observations are very important
When we are asked to carry out a damp survey it involves a lot more than just testing the base of the ground floor walls for damp. We have a duty of care to report on all potential sources of unwanted moisture so it is very important that we carry out a close inspection of the external building fabric during the course of our survey and report all defects that may have a negative impact on the building fabric.
