In this video, I demonstrated how to create and work with Adobe InDesign tables and included some tips for best results. Here are a few of the items covered:
1. Create a text box using the Type Tool (T) (0:10)
2. Create a table (0:18)
3. Select and copy multiple rows (0:55)
4. Create a New Table Style (1:27)
5. Adjust table Row Height (2:02)
6. Add table alternating fills (2:55)
7. Insert rows(s) (4:00)
8. Adjust Column Width (5:00)
9. Adjust Row Height (5:10)
10. Adjust Cell Inset values (6:00)
11. Delete row(s) (6:24)
12. Move / reorder row(s) (6:44)
13. Create and apply Paragraph and Character Styles (7:07)
Best practice tip: always use table, paragraph and character styles to quickly make changes.
