Difference between Shallow Foundation and Deep Foundation
This video explains the difference between shallow foundation and deep foundation.
1. Shallow foundation is constructed near the surface of the earth while deep foundation is constructed at a greater depth below the earth surface.
2. The depth of shallow foundation is less than width. while in case of deep foundation the depth is 3 times more than the width.
3. Shallow foundation is cheaper while deep foundation is expensive.
