Preparations for the circumcision of the Bukusu boys are on
Every August of an even year, the Bukusu community, one of the Luhya subtribes from western Kenya, participates in a special rite of passage for the young men of the community. Before the season officially kicks off there are special and arcane ceremonies that are done before the circumcision.
