Caoineadh Cu Chulainn (Lament for Cu Chulainn)
This is my electric guitar interpretation of the wonderful Bill Whelan composition. The piece was originally written for the show Riverdance and was played on the uilleann pipes by the Irish virtuoso Davy Spillane. As a boy growing up in Ireland, I well remember seeing the statue of Cu Chulainn in the GPO in Dublin.
