With the violent fluctuations in the market as of late, the only benefit of this economic crisis is that gas prices at the pump are going down as the price of crude drops. When the economy recovers and the price at the pump goes back up, why do Americans have to put up with this nonsense. Why do we have to be stuck between this unfair "rock and a hard place" situation. With the election and the economy, the fuel crisis has taken a distant back seat. This segment was from my TV show on the CN8 network over two years ago, before any one else in Washington or TV took up the charge. This episode was from April 28th, 2006 and nothing has change since then. I wanted to post this to remind all of you that although he matter isn't getting press, it's not going away. Even though we have a small temporary drop at the pump, the root of the problem still remains.
