Kenwood 9904S GPS/Electronic Compass Not Working [1/2]
Kenwood 9904S GPS/Electronic Compass Not Working. This breaks Kenwood's DRV-N520 camera because the geo location and speed data is not available to encode on the video. Also the cam's departure delay feature doesn't work because it doesn't think the vehicle is moving. Running firmware S_V1_4_0008_1600.zip (October 2017). I've relocated the gps antenna, swapped out the gps antenna, reinitialized the system, ruled out CarPlay, ruled out dash camera (unplugged it), ruled out interference from phone (turned to airplane mode). Can be fixed temporarily by rebooting system, but it usually doesn't fix it for more than a few minutes.
