How to Transfer Contacts from Android to Android
If you want to backup all the contacts which are present in your android device to a google account or your gmail account because you want to format the android device or you want to restore it in a different android device then let me show you how to do it. Now whenever you set up a new android device you need to enter your google account so you can backup the contact in the same google account. For that one we will go to "Settings". We will go to "Accounts and backup". We will go to "Accounts" and then we will select the contact or we will select the google account where you want to backup the contact and then I will select "sync account". Now from here we need to make sure that this contacts it is enabled and all the contacts which are present in your android device will be backed up to that google account. Now if I want to make sure whether your contacts are backed up in this google account or not what I can do is I can go ahead and open a browser. Let me open Google Chrome and here you need to open a website "contacts.google.com". Open this website and here I can see the contacts which are backed in this google account. So, this shows me that the contacts have already been saved in my Google account. So, if I need to restore this contact in another device then what I will do is whenever I am setting up that device I will go ahead and I will make sure that I am using the same Google account where I saved my contact. So, once you setup your device, go back to "Settings" again. Go to "Accounts and Backup". Go to "Accounts" and suppose this is the google account which I had used to backup my contact, I will open this Google account. I will go to "sync account" and here also I will make sure that this "contacts" is enabled so that whatever the contacts were present in that google account, it will be downloaded and restored in this android device. So, this is how you can backup and restore the contact.
