StartupTrek TV interviewed Michael Komarnitsky of Seattle Web 2.0 startup, and Seattle Techstars applicant GoMiles.com last week. GoMiles was formed seven month ago, and is an applicant to Seattle's new "TechStars" program for early-stage startups. They have a slick, automated solution to ease the pain of tracking those pesky, vexing travel mileage program accounts.

The company is still in "private Beta" testing mode, but will launch this summer. StartupTrek visitors are invited to go to GoMiles.com and enter invite code "STARTUPTREK" in order to become private Beta users of the site (offer limited to first 100 users).

GoMiles provides as a core service a means of automatically tracking all the details relating to Frequent Flyer Airline, Hotel, and Car Rental loyalty and awards programs. The free site brings to registered user's attention, relevant specials being promoted by Airlines, Hotel Chains, and Car rental agencies; and prevents the expiration of miles.

There are a number of nifty, surprise benefits which flow from using this "Mint.com" like site for loyalty programs. We'll cover all of that in the 3 minute interview above. Next week we'll follow this up with a 4 minute video demonstration of their site's capabilities.
