How to Enable and Customize Guides in Premiere Pro
This video will demonstrate how to enable and customize guide lines within Premiere Pro.
Step 1:
Navigate to the View menu at the top of the interface.
Step 2:
Verify that both Show Guides and Show Rulers are selected.
Step 3:
Rulers will immediately appear along the top and left edges of your program monitor.
Step 4:
To create guides, simply click and drag from either ruler onto your video frame.
Step 5:
To customize a guide's appearance, right-click on any existing guide and select Edit Guide.
Step 6:
In the window that appears, you can modify both the position and color of your selected guide.
Step 7:
To remove any individual guide, simply click and drag it back to its original ruler.
Step 8:
If you want to completely remove all guides and start fresh, return to the View menu and select Clear Guides.
