BEST Nikon Lenses for Shooting Video

Nikon has a full range of lenses, with specific models better suited for shooting video than others. On a D7000, a lens with an aperture control ring allows you to change your aperture while in video mode. Used manual lenses are cheap, in general are very fast (f/1.2-f2.8), provide a better experience when focusing manually and are generally very sharp. Check your Nikon manual for compatible lenses, but basically on the D7000 you can't use lenses that are Pre-AI.
All lenses have pros and cons, so figure out what works for you--try before you buy. Check the fit/finish and settings before putting your money down. Good luck!
