This camera is made from a computer mouse circuit board. An engineer known as Dykus created it to demonstrate that a mouse sensor is essentially a mini-camera, albeit a low-resolution one. The ADNS-3090 sensor he used allows for 900-pixel photos. The camera can take 48 photos with various color effects, storing them in 32 KB of frame memory. Interestingly, there's even a panoramic mode, as well as a mouse-on-screen drawing mode that utilizes the sensor for its intended purpose.
