How to draw a realistic portrait of Nelson Mandela as a part of learning how to draw the head, facial features, people, and the figure. In this isnt really a tutorial like my other videos but more a drawing demonstration in which you will see how I draw a portrait from start to finish by first laying out a sketch in pencil then completing the drawing in pen and ink show various shading, hatching, cross-hatching and texture techniques with various types of lines.
The pen tip sizes 005 and 01 were the workhorses for this demonstration, then I used the 05 pen tip to embolden the contours and shadows and create a more pronounced contrast.
