Dream Big. Create an Idea- ANY IDEA and we may help you build it, protect it, and gain recognition for it.
Created by Absolute Creative Events in association with Sony, Bright Ideas and The University of South Wales.
Project RPi allows you think up any product you would like to create, and if it's feasible, will invite you to an 8 hour Lock-In where we will give you all the equipment you need, a host of advice, and experts on hand to help you build and create your idea.
The only Rules? Your project must use a Raspberry Pi and you MUST be a student at The University of South Wales.
Don't get confused! The Raspberry Pi is a credit-card sized single-board computer and has a whole lot of potential. You can use it as a full blown computer (just add keyboard, screen and mouse), put it with a pi-cam to use as a camera to take photos or film, or use it as a control device for engineering or robotics style projects. If you don't know where to start, look at our ideas links and just remember you will be assigned experts who will help you build the project!
How to enter
1. Decide whether to work alone or in a team.
2. Pick an idea -- It can be similar or the same as something already built with the Raspberry Pi, or it can be entirely original!
3. Submit your Idea! -- A little research is always a good idea. If you don't mention the equipment you need we cannot provide it!
Deadline: 20th December 2013
4. Then we will let you know if you have been chosen to take part in the Lock-IN where we give you the Raspberry Pi, additional stated equipment, experts and pizza!
5. Once the project is built, we invite you to the prestigious Future Entrepreneur Awards for a fantastic free evening of entertainment, 5*dining and awards.

Protect your Ideas!
So you have submitted a fantastic Idea. Now, it is time to start to think about what happens to it once it has been built?
Protecting your idea is always a great Idea, so for those of you who submit an original one, you might want to take a look at the information in a free app called IP for SB which will tell you everything you need to know immediately.
