The Flash In Effect in DaVinci Resolve — Faster Than Finding a Tutorial
The flash in effect looks complex but takes less than a minute to set up in DaVinci Resolve. Here's the full process using Fusion's Magic Mask and Color Corrector.
Here's what's covered:
Duplicating your clip and heading to the Fusion page
Adding a Magic Mask, selecting your subject and letting it auto-track
Adding a Color Corrector and setting Gain to 5 on the first frame with a keyframe
Moving 4 frames forward and setting Gain back to 1 for the flash
